Mississippi State University has a three-tier system of scholarships: university, college (of engineering), and departmental (such as industrial, mechanical, civil or chemical engineering). For entering freshmen and new students, your completion of the on-line application for admissions and the scholarship resume is all that is necessary to be considered for all available and applicable scholarships. If you are already a student here at MSU and are seeking assistance, there is a separate scholarship form for current students only. Prospective & Entering Freshmen Students: For university information on admissions and scholarships, please contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships, Box 6334, Mississippi State, MS 39762, (662) 325-2224, or visit their scholarship page at http://www.admissions.msstate.edu/scholarships/. Note: When a student indicates engineering as their major during the application and scholarship process, they will also be required to provide an essay - click here for more details. Current Students Only: Please fill out this on-line application to be considered for college scholarships for sophomores through seniors. A cumulative 3.5 GPA or greater is encouraged.
