Master of Engineering

The Master of Engineering (M Eng) is a professional degree designed for students seeking a non-specific discipline degree in engineering who do not normally have access to traditional degree granting programs at the graduate level. No “core” courses are required as part of the M Eng degree program; each individual program of study will be developed from a list of available courses, student interests, educational background, work experience, and needs. The primary objective of this inter-disciplinary program is to allow professional engineers to pursue a flexible graduate degree in a web-based format. The program will uphold the same rigorous academic requirements as programs offered on the Mississippi State University Campus.

The Master of Engineering program at Mississippi State University is unique in the state of Mississippi.

Students enrolled in this program may use courses to satisfy continuing education hours for the Mississippi Engineering Board of Registration as well as requirements for Licensed Professional Engineers in other states.
