Mechanical engineering launches ME Ambassadors program

092216-me-ambassadorsThe mechanical engineering department within Mississippi State’s Bagley College of Engineering has established a new student liaison program, selecting six students to represent the department for the fall 2016 semester.

Known as the ME Ambassadors, the group will serve as student representatives for the mechanical engineering department in meetings with faculty and with the Mechanical Engineering Advisory Board. The group will also engage in departmental recruiting efforts and other various activities.

“I’m really excited about this initiative and the strong impact it will have in the mechanical engineering department at Mississippi State,” said Pedro Mago, the mechanical engineering department head. “I am also grateful to the ME Advisory Board for their continued support of programs such as this.”

The inaugural class of ME Ambassadors includes:

  • Morgan Green – Olive Branch, Miss.
  • Caleb Hill – Gulfport, Miss.
  • Emma Hoelzel – Bay St. Louis, Miss.
  • Gracie Kelker – Slidell, La.
  • Cory Krivanec – Biloxi, Miss.
  • Pari Muley – Nasik, Maharashtra, India

All are senior mechanical engineering students.
