Communications Office

The publications and communications office in the college of engineering provides strategic and creative communications that effectively share the BCoE message of excellence with students, alumni, peer institutions, researchers, recruiters, and industry.

Through the use of both print and electronic communications, the public relations office strives to present a unified message of the college, its respective departments and research centers. The office also coordinates closely with University Relations to ensure publicity and coverage by the news media. By collaborating with administrators, faculty, staff, and students of the college, the publications and communications office can share all the great activities, research and inspiring stories occurring in engineering at Mississippi State University.

Provides both print and electronic graphic design support for the BCoE. Projects include, but are not limited to, website development and maintenance, brochures, advertisements, mailers, display graphics, logos, publications, and t-shirts.

Serves as primary writer and editor for news stories and recruitment materials for the college, assists with managing social media accounts and helps with event support.
