Research/Academic Interest: I am currently very interested in new specialized drug delivery systems and neurology.
Career Interest: I want to be in the research and development field preferably not in academia but rather in a private or governmental laboratory.
Trey Dooley

Research/Academic Interest: Industrial Engineering applications in healthcare and modeling simulations.
Career Interest: Within industry, my interest is in pursuing a technical managerial role. Within academia, my interest is in becoming a professor and researcher.
William Garrison
Computer Science, Spring 2027
Research/Academic Interest: My research and academic interests are in off road autonomous driving networks, AI deployments for autonomous driving and efficient algorithms. Academically I have made my concentration AI to reflect this. Additionally, I have explored the research side of these interests by working as an undergraduate researcher for CAVs under the management of Dr. Hudson and Dr. Carruth. I plan to carry these interests into my graduate studies as potential areas for a dissertation.
Career Interest: In terms of what I would like to explore for my career I am heavily considering attempting to become teaching faculty, I think based on my enjoyment of my time doing SI I would really love to be a teaching professor. Additionally, I have considered trying to go down the tenure track road or even leaving academia and trying to work in a private lab. I am going to be exploring the industry avenue this summer with my internship with Camgian MicroSystems.

Andric Knott
Electrical Engineering, Spring 2026
Research/Academic Interest: To obtain a Masters from MSU specializing in management systems of the ISE department and to also inspect the automotive engineering and production control systems courses as electives. Refining processes and also just how things mechanically operate interest me also.
Career Interest: To be in a job where I can leave at a moment’s notice and maybe even be my own boss where I know I can do that. I wouldn’t be opposed to working for the military, the government and DOD, or even checking out a manufacturing or power plant.
