MSU professors receive $1.6 million for two nuclear energy research projects

Gulf coast engineering student earns DOE fellowship
A Bagley College of Engineering student has been selected to receive a highly competitive fellowship from the U.S. Department of Energy. Junbo Zhao, an assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, recently earned the Outstanding Engineer Award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ Power & Energy Society.
