Mississippi State University’s director of the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) recently took his research on the road by delivering a keynote address at an international conference in India.
Randall German, a chair professor of mechanical engineering, was one of four lecturers from the United States invited to visit the Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute and participate in the 50th Jubilee Celebration and International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing Technologies- 2007. The conference, which took place in Durgapur, India, featured talks from researchers and international industry leaders including India’s former president and current secretary of science and technology.
German’s presentation “Modeling of Materials Processes – The Difficult Problems with Particulates” was the invited keynote presentation. Along with speakers from other countries, talks were also given by faculty from Northwestern University, University of Illinois and Oklahoma State University.
