One of the world’s leading chemical companies ‘pays it forward’

DOW Chemical, the Fortune 500 Company with the slogan, “We believe in the power of the ‘Human Element’ to change the world,” recently presented a $23,000 check to the Bagley College of Engineering. Representatives Richard Rolke, Tony Polk, and recent Mississippi State graduates Dev Motiram and Ashley Graves presented the donation on campus at a DOW sponsored recruitment event.

Global Improvement Leader, Richard Rolke stated, “DOW Chemical has an extremely long history in recruiting high quality engineers from Mississippi State and the company believes in giving back to a great university that has given us so many great employees.”

The Aide to Education grant will be used to support various scholarships, senior design projects, laboratory supplies, and student engineering organizations.

Donna Reese, associate dean for academics and administration expressed her appreciation, “We want to thank Dow for their continuing support of the Bagley College of Engineering and appreciate their philanthropic belief of giving back to education.”
