Through a generous annual gift from Chevron, the Bagley College of Engineering has provided programming aimed to recruit and retain students pursuing a degree in engineering at Mississippi State University. This support also provides funding to promote STEM for grades K-12 through exciting summer STEM camps and so much more. Our partnership with Chevron enables many student groups, organizations, tutoring sessions, and mentorships to thrive. This is just to name a few of our Chevron sponsored programs. Chevron’s commitment and investment in the Bagley College of Engineering’s students’ education and success a crucial component to accelerating opportunities for our student body in engineering.

Engineering Discovery Day
Engineering Discovery Day is an annual events where the BCoE welcomes 10th and 11th grade students interested in engineering to campus for tours, lunch and a chance to meet engineers and engineering students.
Summer Engineering Academies
Summer Engineering Academies are summer opportunities for young people who would like to explore the world of engineering. Each program provides a unique opportunity to discover the possibilities for an exciting field of study and career.
Chevron Engineering Transfer Program
The Bagley College of Engineering and the Chevron Corporation Transfer Program are pleased to provide support to transfer students from community college to Mississippi State University Starkville and Gulf Coast campuses. The goal of the program is to increase student retention, ease the transition from the community college system to the four-year institution, and enhance performance of students from community colleges.
