Nine engineering students from Mississippi State are set for departure to Bristol, England for a six-week study abroad program. The students will be accompanied by MSU faculty advisor, Dr. George Adebiyi, along with students from Clemson University.
The Fred and Sara Jean Burke Study Abroad Program includes the students taking classes at the University of Bristol where each will earn three credit hours in humanities elective and technical elective. The last few weeks of the program, participants will be free to explore tourist destinations throughout Europe. Through this experience, students gain knowledge of a global culture on top of new information in their respective engineering fields. The annual program is set for the second summer semester and continues into mid-August.
