Bagley College of Engineering professors co-author national manual

Drs. Chris Saucier and Harry Cole of the BCoE civil engineering department are co-authors of the eighth edition of the “Fundamentals of Engineering Supplied-Reference Handbook,” published by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying. Each year before graduating, civil engineering students across the country must pass the NCEES exam as the first step toward gaining a professional license in the profession.
The Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam consists of two 4-hour sessions. The FE Supplied-Reference Handbook is the only reference manual allowed during the national exam. As they take the exam, students across the nation will see Saucier’s contributions on pages 134-141 and Cole’s authored pages 142-158.
