The MSU Bagley College of Engineering honored seven members of its faculty and staff during the Dean’s Advisory Council banquet on November 3.

These annual awards recognize faculty and staff for their accomplishments in the college’s eight departments and multiple research centers.

This year’s award recipients are as follows:

Career Award – David Marcum, a professor of mechanical engineering, the ExxonMobil Endowed Professorship holder and chief scientist of computational fluid dynamics for CAVs.

Service Award – Jean Mohammadi-Aragh, an associate professor in electrical and computer engineering and the director of diversity for the Bagley College of Engineering.

Professional Administrative Staff Award – Ellen Harpole, an accountant for electrical and computer engineering.

Non-Exempt Administrative Staff Award – Alisha Bennett, a business coordinator for industrial and systems engineering.

Teaching Award for Distance Learning – Junfeng Ma, an associate professor in industrial and systems engineering.

Academy of Distinguished Teachers – Matthew Priddy, an assistant professor of mechanical engineering, and Alexis Nordin, an instructor of technical writing.
