MSU Bagley College of Engineering recognizes top faculty, staff and students at awards dinner

STARKVILLE, Miss.—The Mississippi State University Bagley College of Engineering honored its 2026 award winners at the Dean’s Advisory Council dinner in September.
The honorees include faculty, staff and students from across the college who stood out in research, academics or service to the university.
The recipients are listed below:

BCoE Faculty Research Award—Vuk Marojevic, professor and Paul B. Jacob Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
BCoE Academy of Distinguished Teachers Awards—Junming Diao, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering; and Mohammad Heshmati, assistant professor in the Dave C. Swalm School of Chemical Engineering
