A pair of Mississippi State University civil engineering students have each received scholarships from the Mississippi Valley Branch of the Associated General Contractors (AGC).

Mississippi Valley Branch of the Associated General ContractorsBridget Abadie and Anna Norris, both seniors in Mississippi State’s Bagley College of Engineering, were awarded a Bruce Tucker Memorial Scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year. The recognition comes with a $2,000 scholarship.

This is the second year that Abadie has received the scholarship.

To earn the scholarship, recipients must have reached their junior year with a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Students must be enrolled in civil engineering or construction technology majors. Students can also reapply for the scholarship to be awarded again their senior year.
