December 1, 2022

Dear Faculty, Staff, Students and Friends of the Bagley College of Engineering:

It is hard to believe that football season is over and another semester is reaching an end. Graduation will be next week, and I am pleased to share with you some of the great things happening in the Bagley College of Engineering at Mississippi State University:

  • Petroleum engineering senior Braden LaBerenz received the Andy Ellis Memorial Scholarship Award from the American Association of Drilling Engineers.
  • The Bagley College of Engineering student spotlight featured highlights of industrial engineering sophomore Grace Braddock’s study abroad experience in Rome.
  • Read about the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering’s 2022 Wall of Fame inductees.
  • Electrical engineering professor and Bobby Shackouls Endowed Professorship in Engineering holder Jenny Du was recognized as one of the most cited researchers in the world by Clarivate Analytics 2022 Web of Science citation index.
  • The Mississippi State University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective multidisciplinary collegiate honor society, was just recognized with their fifth consecutive Circle of Excellence Award.
